Latrelle Ross
Latrelle Ross is a teacher, freelance writer and photographer living in Toledo, Ohio with her partner Ken and their two cats Buddy and Zizzy. She specializes in simple living, sustainable city living, whole foods and natural wellness and has spent the last twenty one years researching and implementing sustainable living and natural wellness practices into her life.
In her own words, "My father was a child during the Depression and WWII; if he throws something away it's definitely not usable. I also grew up near Lake Erie in the '70s. Environmentalism has always been a part of my life. In my early twenties I had a health scare. Modern medicine coudn't help. After taking my health into my own hands, I discovered natural wellness and the benefits of whole foods."
Her intention is to provide her readers with all of the information they need to live a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle. "What's best for our bodies and what is best for the Earth go hand in hand. If we aren't caring for ourselves, then we are not caring for the environment."
Latrelle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio with a degree in Humanities. Her interests include music, writing, photography, environmentalism, gardening, fitness, yoga and spirituality. More of her writing can be found at A Chronicle of Being.
